Acre Distilling Hosts Mother’s Day Weekend Pairing in Fort Worth

Acre Distilling has Mother’s Day weekend covered, and honestly, this sounds a lot better than fighting the brunch crowd while pretending everyone is relaxed.

The Mother’s Day Weekend event at Acre Distilling takes place May 8–9, 2026, in downtown Fort Worth. Guests can treat Mom, or themselves, to a tasting experience featuring seven Acre spirits paired with four bites from Loraine’s Bakery.

We’re talking warm, gooey cinnamon roll bites paired with pours like peach whiskey, apple pie moonshine, blackberry sage tea vodka, and more Acre favorites. It’s sweet, a little strong, and probably a more memorable Mother’s Day plan than panic-buying flowers at the grocery store. Not that any of us have ever done that. Allegedly.

Available time slots include:

Saturday: 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM, 4:00 PM, 5:30 PM, and 7:00 PM
Sunday: 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM

Acre Distilling is located in historic downtown Fort Worth in what used to be the notorious “Hell’s Half Acre” red light district. Back in the day, the Acre hosted names like Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid, Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, Bat Masterson, and Longhair Jim. These days, the lineup is a little more respectable, with award-winning spirits, craft cocktails, and bakery pairings that are considerably less likely to involve a wanted poster.

The cost is $30 per person, and guests can reserve their spots online and pay when they arrive. Seating is limited. For tastings that include a pairing, all guests entering the tasting room must purchase a ticket, including children over 10, designated drivers, and guests who are not drinking. Those guests will still receive the food pairings.

This event is part of the growing list of Texas whiskey and craft spirits events happening across the state. You can find more Acre Distilling events, explore other North Texas whiskey events, or check out the full Texas Whiskey Events Calendar to see what else is coming up.

Event details may change, so be sure to confirm the latest information directly with Acre Distilling before making plans.

And if this calendar helped you avoid another boring Mother’s Day plan, consider grabbing some Texas Whiskey Geek merch. It helps support this independent website, keeps the event calendar ad-free, and lets me keep hunting down Texas spirits events like some kind of mildly organized booze goblin.
