Go Behind the Scenes at Balcones Distilling’s Escarpment Tour

Ever wonder how Balcones crafts its award-winning whiskies? Here’s your chance to find out — up close and personal.

On Wednesday, November 13th, Balcones Distilling in Waco, Texas invites guests to a special Escarpment Tour, hosted by Brand Experience Manager Alex Elrod and National Brand Ambassador Charlie McRae.

This elevated experience goes beyond the usual tour — from the second-floor view of Balcones’ custom copper pot stills, to tasting new make spirit in the blending room, to visiting the fourth-floor R&D warehouse where whiskies rest and evolve. The tour concludes with a guided tasting of Balcones’ core American Single Malts and limited releases, all in the old blending room.

Each guest receives a leather notebook, wee Glencairn, and stainless steel Glencairn cover as keepsakes.
