When a whiskey gets named America’s Best Single Barrel Whiskey, it is generally a good time to pay attention.
Hush & Whisper Company in Bryan is celebrating their ADI 2026 International Spirits Competition win with a limited release of Barrel 167 Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey on June 4th at 2 PM.
Only 150 bottles are being released, which means this is not the kind of thing you casually “get around to later.” Whiskey has a funny way of disappearing when people know it is limited. Very rude of it, honestly.
The distillery describes Barrel 167 as opening with mint, eucalyptus, and cherry, followed by a full-bodied palate and a smooth finish with hints of honey. It is a one-time barrel release, so once this one is gone, it is gone.
