Introducing the Mother of Texas Whiskey Blend — A Sweet Tribute

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Ironroot Republic is proud to announce the release of our newest limited edition: The Mother of Texas Whiskey Blend (MOTW). Handcrafted by our master blender Jonathan as a heartfelt gift for his mom, Marcia, this special release is a true family affair — and quite possibly the best Mother’s Day present ever.

The MOTW blend marries fifteen barrels of classic column-distilled bourbon from Kentucky and Indiana with Ironroot’s own rich, pot-distilled bourbon. The star of the show? An experimental mashbill featuring Magic Manna corn, a rare grain that gives the whiskey a mouthwatering sugar cookie aroma straight off the still.

Double barreled to perfection, the final blend delivers a dark, luscious profile. Think fudgy brownies, ripe strawberries, and a swirl of cherry icing — all wrapped up in a soft, easy-drinking whiskey with real depth and complexity. Inspired by Marcia’s love for the bold flavors of our Promethean bourbon, this blend brings her favorite dark, decadent notes to life.

The Mother of Texas Whiskey Blend will be available exclusively at the distillery starting Saturday, May 3rd, before hitting Spec’s and select independent liquor stores across Texas.
