McKinney Spooktacular Brews & Boos Walk | Historic Downtown McKinney, TX

If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate Halloween weekend in North Texas, the McKinney Spooktacular Brews & Boos Walk is the place to be. On Saturday, October 25th, 2025, Historic Downtown McKinney transforms into a sip-and-stroll festival featuring over 20 stops pouring craft beers, spirits, and cocktails from some of Texas’ best breweries and distilleries.

When you check in, you’ll get your signature tasting cup and map, then it’s up to you to wander through McKinney’s charming downtown shops and tasting stations. Costumes are encouraged — and with categories like Best Group, Scariest, Most Creative, and even Kids Costumes, there are plenty of chances to win prizes at the Russell Realty Costume Contest.

This year’s lineup features Texas favorites like Lockwood Distilling, Horse Neck Bourbon, Deep Ellum Brewing, 3 Nations, Texas Ale Project, Saint Arnold, Ironroot Republic Distilling and more. And while you’re sipping, you can browse the outdoor vendor market on the McKinney Performing Arts Center lawn or capture a memory at the Halloween-themed photo booth.

Want to kick things off early? Start your morning with the McKinney Monster Dash 5K at Towne Lake Park from 9–11 AM before heading downtown for the main event.

Best of all, your participation helps support Traffic 911, a nonprofit dedicated to helping local youth in crisis.
