If you needed another reason to go to the Texas Whiskey Festival… here it is.
Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling is dropping a limited Texas Whiskey Festival collaboration release—and it ties directly into one of the biggest whiskey events in the state.
Let’s start with the important part:

Because this bottle? It’s part of that story.
This special release is built on Ranger Creek’s State & Republic wheated bourbon, aged for three years in new oak before being finished in a 60-gallon Amburana barrel—a Brazilian wood more commonly used in cachaça. That finishing step is where things get interesting, bringing out notes of cinnamon, maple syrup, butterscotch, and vanilla.
Only 250 bottles were made.
And while this release celebrates the festival, it’s not just for attendees. You can pre-order online and pick up your bottle at the distillery starting on release day (April 18th), or anytime after—they’ll even hold it for up to a year.
🥃 Why This Matters (and Why You Should Care About the Festival)
The Texas Whiskey Festival isn’t just another tasting event—it’s where distilleries collaborate, experiment, and show off things you won’t find sitting on shelves.
This Ranger Creek release is a perfect example of that.
It’s the kind of bottle that exists because of the festival. Limited, a little experimental, and tied directly to the people and community behind Texas whiskey.
So whether you’re planning to be there in person or just want to get your hands on something unique, this one’s worth paying attention to.
