Copper Shot Distillery 10th Anniversary Party in Bastrop
Copper Shot Distillery is celebrating 10 years with a big anniversary party on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Bastrop, Texas.
The party will feature live music, food, vendors, prizes, limited edition merchandise, and a special limited rye release. Which feels like the correct way to celebrate a decade of producing spirits. Cake is nice, but rye has fewer candles and better barrel notes.
The event includes live music from Bastrop Blues Jam from 2 to 5 PM and Rock House from 7 to 10 PM. Copper Shot is also marking the occasion with a first-ever limited rye release from their distiller, giving whiskey fans another reason to stop by the distillery and raise a glass.
Copper Shot Distillery is located at 809 Main St., Bastrop, TX 78602.

And if you’re celebrating 10 years of Texas spirits, consider checking out the Texas Whiskey Geek merch page before you go. It helps support this independent, ad-free website, which is basically my own little limited release. Except instead of barrel proof whiskey, it’s calendar updates and mild sleep deprivation.
TEXAS WHISKEY (noun): Like other whiskey, but bolder, hotter, and a little cocky.
No comparisons. No apologies. Just straight-up Texas swagger in wearable form.
Whether you’re sipping something barrel-proof, grilling out, or running the bottle share, this shirt does the talking so you can focus on the pour. Made for the folks who know Texas whiskey isn’t trying to be anything — it already is.
Details:
• Unisex fit with attitude
• Super-soft cotton blend — tough enough for a Texas summer
• Designed in Texas. Made for bold pours and big personalities.
• Warning: May cause compliments and side-eyes
