Karaoke Night Returns to Spirit of Texas for Whiskey Wednesday
Midweek plans do not always need to be complicated.
Sometimes you just need a microphone, a decent drink, and enough confidence to convince yourself that this time your version of “Friends in Low Places” is going to land.
On Wednesday, August 19, Spirit of Texas Distillery in Pflugerville hosts another round of Karaoke Night, part of its recurring first-and-third-Wednesday Whiskey Wednesday lineup. The event runs from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and is free to attend.
It is a simple formula: pick a song, grab a pour, and try not to overthink it.

Spirit of Texas keeps Wednesday nights casual.
The distillery serves its own rum, whiskey, and craft beer, with drink specials offered as part of Whiskey Wednesday. Karaoke gives regulars and first-time visitors something to do beyond simply sitting at the bar, and because the event repeats twice a month, it has become part of the normal rhythm of the tasting room.
That recurring format matters.
Not every event needs to be a bottle release, masterclass, or festival. Some of the best distillery nights are the ones where people simply show up, have a drink, talk to strangers, and eventually make a questionable song selection in public.
This is one of those nights.
A Local Distillery Hangout
Spirit of Texas has built a schedule around community-focused events like live music, karaoke, open mic nights, and other casual gatherings.
Karaoke Night fits neatly into that approach. There is no cover charge, no tasting seminar, and no need to pretend you know what “secondary maturation” means before walking through the door.
You can come for the drinks, stay for the music, or get on stage yourself.
The important thing is that it feels like a neighborhood event first and a promotional event second.

Karaoke runs from 7 to 9 p.m.
Guests can order handcrafted Texas whiskey, rum, cocktails, and craft beer made on-site. Spirit of Texas also offers drink specials during Whiskey Wednesday.
There will not be a food truck on-site for this event, but outside food is allowed. Guests are welcome to bring dinner with them or have food delivered to the distillery.
That makes this a pretty easy weeknight stop: grab tacos, pizza, or whatever sounds good, bring it with you, and settle in for a couple of hours.
