Milk & Honey Masterclass & Mediterranean Dinner at Whiskey Castle | Hurst, TX
North Texas whiskey lovers, this one’s going international.
On Friday, February 27, 2026, the Whiskey Crusaders are hosting a special Milk & Honey Masterclass & Dinner at Whiskey Castle in Hurst, Texas, featuring International Head of Sales Tal Chotine, who’s traveling in from Tel Aviv for the evening.
Milk & Honey (M&H) Distillery was founded in 2013 and holds the distinction of being Israel’s first whisky distillery. In just over a decade, they’ve gone from ambitious startup to global award-winner — even earning “Best Whiskey in the World” recognition along the way. Early on, the distillery consulted with the late Dr. Jim Swan, implementing his STR (shave, toast, rechar) barrel techniques to help manage maturation in Israel’s intense climate — nearly 300 days of sun per year and an estimated 15% angel’s share.
So yes… these whiskies mature differently.
This masterclass is designed for everyone — whether you’re brand new to single malts or you already have opinions about warehouse orientation and barrel char levels.
What You’ll Be Tasting
The evening includes a welcome cocktail made with Milk & Honey Levantine Gin, followed by a lineup that covers the full M&H range:
Milk & Honey Classic Single Malt
Milk & Honey Elements Sherry Cask Single Malt
Milk & Honey Elements Red Wine Cask Single Malt
Milk & Honey Elements Pomegranate Wine Cask Single Malt
Milk & Honey Peated Single Malt
Specialty Expressions for the Masterclass
Milk & Honey DoppelBock Single Malt
Milk & Honey Dead Sea Single Malt
That’s not just a tasting. That’s a passport stamp.
Mediterranean Dinner Included
This is not a “grab some crackers and call it pairing” situation.
Dinner will be a traditional Mediterranean spread featuring:
Pita bread
Fresh vegetables
Hummus & tzatziki dips
Wrap selections including Black Forest Ham & Cheese, Mesquite Smoked Turkey & Cheese, Mesquite Smoked Turkey & Bacon, and Pimento Cheese
Good food. Big flavors. Bold whisky.
Tickets are $75 per person, and for a guided tasting with an international brand rep plus dinner included, that’s a strong value.
