Sixth Street Spirits Bourbon Masterclass & Dinner at Whiskey Crusaders Whiskey Castle

The Whiskey Crusaders are hosting a Sixth Street Spirits Masterclass and Dinner on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 7:00 PM, at the Whiskey Castle in Hurst, Texas. This guided evening blends deep-dive whiskey education with a full barbecue dinner and is designed to be welcoming for all levels of whisky experience, from beginners to seasoned enthusiasts.

The main masterclass will be led by David Stedman, Vice President & General Manager of Sixth Street Spirits. Founded in 2012 by Michael Leidel, Sixth Street Spirits was among the early wave of Central Texas craft distilleries. Their approach combines sourced aged MGP distillate with extended finishing and maturation in Texas, alongside their own aging stock — all bottled in their signature hand-blown guitar-shaped bottles.

In addition to the Sixth Street lineup, guests will enjoy a bonus mini masterclass featuring Tahwahkaro Distillery, a Texas distillery that produces all of its spirits in-house, offering a contrasting, grain-to-glass perspective.

The evening includes a welcome cocktail followed by an expansive tasting lineup:
