Limited Release: 8-Year Sherry Finished Bourbon at Kooper Family Whiskey

Koopers Family Whiskey is dropping something special — and you’ll have to make the trip to get it. On Thursday, January 22, 2026, the distillery will release a Limited Edition 8-Year Sherry Finished Bourbon, available exclusively at the Koopers Family Whiskey Texas Tasting Room in Ledbetter.

This release starts with an 8-year-old straight bourbon, carefully matured before being finished in seasoned Sherry casks. The result is a layered, expressive bourbon showing notes of dark cherry, baked apples, and tobacco, with added depth and richness from the finishing casks.

Only 216 bottles were produced, with a four-bottle per person limit, making this a true small-run release for fans who like their bourbon with a little patience and a lot of character. Bottles will be available in limited quantities, and once they’re gone — that’s it.
