Kooper Family Whiskey Releases Father’s Office Batch 2
Father’s Office Cigar Blend is coming back for a second batch—and Kooper Family Whiskey is not exactly flooding the market with it.
Only 90 bottles of Batch 2 will be available at the Kooper Family Whiskey tasting room in Ledbetter beginning Saturday, September 19. Bottles will be sold first come, first served, with no holds or exceptions. If you want one, this is probably not the Saturday to sleep until noon and casually consider your options over pancakes.
About Father’s Office Batch 2
Father’s Office Batch 2 is an eight-year-old bourbon finished with Amburana and Mizunara oak staves and bottled at 114 proof.
That combination puts two highly distinctive woods into the same bottle. Amburana is known for bringing bold baking-spice characteristics, while Mizunara can contribute its own complex oak and incense-like notes. How those flavors show up in Batch 2 remains to be tasted, but subtlety does not appear to be the assignment.
