2026 Spirit of Texas Tasting at Texas Forever Fest (Plano)
If you’ve been looking for a one-stop “taste your way across Texas” kind of day, this is it.
The 2026 Spirit of Texas Tasting is part of Plano’s Texas Forever Fest, and it’s hosted by the same crew behind the Annual Texas Whiskey Festival. On Saturday, March 21, 2026 (12:30 PM–4:30 PM), Texas whiskey fans 21+ are invited to the ArtCentre of Plano for an afternoon of sampling, conversations, and discovery — from first-timers to folks who already know their way around a Glencairn.
This tasting is built around the idea that Texas whiskey has the same traits people love about Texas itself: range, personality, and a strong sense of place. Distilleries across the state bring their own ingredients, climate influence, and independent approach to the craft — which means you can bounce between very different styles without leaving the room.
Expect a lineup of whiskeys from across Texas and a chance to meet the people behind the bottles. Past participating distilleries have included:

Tickets are on sale now with two options: VIP gets early access starting at 12:30 PM, while General Admission entry begins at 1:30 PM. The tasting runs until 4:30 PM, and all guests must be 21+ with a valid photo ID.
