Milam & Greene Wildlife Series “Live Oak” Release in Blanco
Milam & Greene Whiskey is releasing the latest bottle in its Wildlife Series, “Live Oak,” on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the distillery in Blanco, Texas.
The release event runs from 12 to 7:30 PM, with live music from Jesse Stratton and his full band from 3:30 to 6:30 PM. So if your ideal Saturday includes a new whiskey release, Hill Country scenery, and live music, congratulations, the algorithm briefly did something useful.
The Wildlife Series has become one of Milam & Greene’s more interesting limited release projects, with each bottle tying into a Texas wildlife or nature theme. This release highlights Live Oak, which feels properly Hill Country. Sturdy, iconic, and probably judging us silently from a limestone ridge.
Guests can stop by the Milam & Greene distillery in Blanco to check out the release, enjoy the afternoon, and catch live music from Jesse Stratton.
Milam & Greene Whiskey is located at 208 Carlie Ln, Blanco, TX 78606.

And if you’re heading to Blanco for a limited release and live music, maybe check out the Texas Whiskey Geek merch page before you go. It helps support this independent, ad-free website, and it gives you something to wear while pretending you totally meant to buy “just one bottle.”
Because Texas whiskey isn’t just smoother, bolder, and a little wild — it’s the hotter f*cking cousin.
Perfect for whiskey festivals, bottle shares, or just reminding your Kentucky friends that we age in triple-digit heat and come out better for it.
• Unisex fit – because good taste doesn’t care about gender
• Ultra-soft cotton – like a hug from your favorite cask
• Loud, proud, and a little cocky – just like Texas whiskey
• Designed for whiskey drinkers who know where the real heat comes from
This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions!
