Garrison Brothers Distillery is dropping the 2025 Guadalupe Bourbon on Saturday, July 12th at 8AM, and this year’s release is shaping up to be more than just a bottle grab—it’s a full-on celebration of Texas whiskey, music, and community.

Now in its fifth annual release, Guadalupe Bourbon is aged four years in new American white oak barrels and finished for two more in rich, tawny port casks. The result? A bold, fruit-forward bourbon with deep crimson color and a flavor that’s smooth as a Hill Country sunset. It’s one of Garrison Brothers’ most sought-after bottles—and for good reason.

But they’re not stopping there. This year, they’re also releasing six different Cask Strength Single Barrels of Guadalupe Bourbon for those who like their whiskey uncut and untamed.

Best of all? This is a free event, open to the public, with no ticket required. Unlike previous years where folks drove through and picked up bottles to go, this release is all about slowing down and soaking it in. Come out to the distillery on Saturday, June 14th, where dad can take home a grain-to-glass Texas straight bourbon whiskey: hand-bottle at cask strength, cork, hand-write and adhere the label, then seal his own unique bottle and include a personalized message on a customizable strip label. If dad can’t make it, you can hand-bottle one for him to ensure he gets the best father’s day gift ever. This year's event features a 6-year-old Texas distillate, distilled by Rikk Munroe.

The Bottle Your Own Bourbon portion of the event runs from 12pm-5pm, however, we'll be open until 8pm. If shoppers are unable to make it to the tasting room for the bottling experience and want to purchase a bottle of the special 6-year Texas distillate for dad, we will have about a dozen bottled for sale in the tasting room available for purchase until 8pm, while supplies last.

Scott H. Biram unleashes a fervent display of conviction through, not 

only the genuine blues, classic country, bluegrass, and rock n roll, 

but he seals the deal with punk, heavy metal, and frankly, anything 

else he wants to. He’s The Dirty Old One Man Band. 

He will still the room with haunting South Texas blues, then turn it 

upside down, into a truck driver's mosh pit. Like he says, it might be 

baptism, or it might be murder, either way…you gonna see the light.

 This legally ordained preacher’s singing, yodeling, growling, leering 

and brash preachin' and hollerin' is accompanied by sloppy riffs, and 

licks literally yanked, one at a time, out of his collection of 

crusty, worn out, Gibson hollowbody guitars, and battle axes. All this 

held down with a pounding backbeat brought forth by his amplified left 

foot, and self customed stomp board. The remainder of this brutally 

charming one-man band consists of an unwieldy combination of beat-up 

amplifiers and old microphones strung together by a tangled mess of 

guitar cables. Don’t get too close! You gonna get some grease on ya!

 Years of compulsive touring, along with a steady diet of down and 

dirty blues, rock, punk, country, and hillbilly have developed Scott 

H. Biram's signature concoction, attracting a hefty array of fans who 

dig the bizarre and twisted sides of the rock and roll spectrum. His 

live shows, performed all over the world, deliver a take no prisoners 

attitude, a stomping, pulsing John Lee Hooker-channeling, and cockeyed 

tales of black water baptisms and murder, all while romanticizing the

Is there a such a thing as truly Texas bourbon? Heck yeah! To give you "The Answer," Milam & Greene conducted a five-year experiment comparing bourbon aging in Kentucky vs. Texas. They distilled bourbon in Bardstown, Kentucky in 2019, took half of it and barreled it and aged it in KY, and shipped the other half to Texas to be barreled and aged at their distillery. It's the exact same bourbon, aged for the exact same time, but in two different states. The Texas climate really does affect the taste of bourbon.

Join Milam & Greene Whiskey at the distillery for "The Answer" Release Party, where both bourbons are available (ages 21+) in 375ml bottles and packaged in a bespoke wooden box. This world-first side-by-side tasting set lets people taste science in a glass.
