Carving & Cocktails at Briggs Distilling – October 29, 2026
Halloween is almost here, and Briggs Distilling is celebrating with pumpkins, cocktails, and a little friendly competition.
On Thursday, October 29, 2026, Briggs Distilling in Driftwood is hosting Carving & Cocktails, an evening of pumpkin carving with a chance to win a bottle of Briggs whiskey.
And don't worry about showing up with a pumpkin and a bag full of carving tools. They've got that covered.
Pumpkins, Cocktails, and a Little Competition
Your ticket includes your first drink, a pumpkin, and a carving kit. All you need to bring is a little creativity.
Carve something spooky, something ridiculous, or something that vaguely resembles the face you intended to make. We've all been there.
The event also includes a pumpkin-carving competition, with a bottle of Briggs whiskey up for grabs.
It's a fun excuse to visit the recently opened Briggs Distilling, enjoy a cocktail, and get into the Halloween spirit.

Briggs Distilling recently opened in Driftwood, bringing another whiskey destination to the Texas Hill Country.
I visited the property before its grand opening and got an early look at the distillery, its whiskey lineup, and the space they've created for visitors.

Because apparently visiting distilleries and drinking whiskey wasn't keeping me busy enough.
Because Texas whiskey isn’t just smoother, bolder, and a little wild — it’s the hotter f*cking cousin.
Perfect for whiskey festivals, bottle shares, or just reminding your Kentucky friends that we age in triple-digit heat and come out better for it.
• Unisex fit – because good taste doesn’t care about gender
• Ultra-soft cotton – like a hug from your favorite cask
• Loud, proud, and a little cocky – just like Texas whiskey
• Designed for whiskey drinkers who know where the real heat comes from
